THIS YEAR WE VISITED L’ATELIER DES CHEFS, BASED NEAR TO ST PAUL’S, TO HONE OUR SKILLS IN THE KITCHEN. WE NATURALLY THREW SOME HEALTHY GIRLS V. BOYS COMPETITION INTO THE MIX.

WITH A MENU OF THAI FISHCAKES, LAMB RUMP AND CHOCOLATE FONDANT TO PREPARE, WE HAD OUR HANDS FULL!

WHILST SOME OF THE TEAM TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO SAMPLE THE WINE – COOKING WINE, DRINKING WINE…SEMANTICS!  AS FAR AS KNIFE SKILLS GO, CHARLES AND VICTORIA HAVE DECIDED TO STICK TO THEIR DAY JOBS.

JUDGING ENTAILED EATING OUR WAY THROUGH THREE COURSES PREPARED BY THE OPPOSITE TEAM – HARDLY A CHORE. AS FOR WHO WON – IT’S STILL FIERCELY CONTESTED! REMATCH!
